Administrative Roles available at Bell Farm

Office Staff required for September 2017

We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our inspiring and supportive team from September 2017. Those appointed will form part of the school’s administration support as members of the office team.


They will undertake an advanced (level 3) apprenticeship in Business Administration in collaboration with a local training provider. The appointment will be Monday to Friday for 36 hours per week, term time only, plus five INSET days a year (39 weeks).  The working time for this role is 8.20am until 4.00pm, with half an hour’s unpaid lunchbreak. This is a fixed-term appointment for two years. Please see the attached job description for further details of the role.

The annual salary for this role is as per the apprenticeship rate on the Surrey Pay Scale, currently £11,118 for the first year and £12,671 for the second year (Full Time Equivalent). As this is a term-time only role the actual annual salary paid is pro rata this amount, £9,477 for year one and £10,801 for year two.

Admissions and Attendance Officer

The appointment will be Monday to Friday for 38.33 hours (38 hours and 20 minutes) per week term time only, plus five INSET days and two days during the school holidays (39.4 weeks). The working time for this role is 8.20am until 4.30pm, with half an hour’s unpaid lunchbreak. This is a permanent position. Please see the attached job description for further details of the role.

The annual salary for the Admissions and Attendance Office role is as per S4 on the Surrey Pay Scale, with a range of £16,571 - £19,386 Full Time Equivalent. As this is a term-time only role the actual salary paid for this role is pro rata this amount, between £15,195 - £17,776. The salaries given are based on the April 2016 to March 2017 salary ranges, the salary ranges from 1 April 2017 are yet to be announced.

They stated ‘Excellent leadership by the headteacher has enabled the school to make significant progress since its previous inspection. Teaching is effective, pupils achieve well and relationships are good. The school is improving rapidly’.
