1:1 Teaching Assistant and HLTA positions available

Teaching Assistants for 1:1 SEN Support

Required February 2019 or as soon as possible, thereafter.

We are looking to appoint three enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants for 1:1 SEN Support, to join our inspiring and supportive team from February 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointments will be Monday to Friday for 32.5 hours a week, term time only (including three INSET days a year). The working hours for this role are 8.20pm to 3.20pm (including a midday meal and play supervision and half an hour unpaid lunchbreak). These are temporary positions, attached to children with special educational needs that will come to an end when the respective child leaves the school. These are expected to be in July 2020, July 2021 and July 2023. Please see the attached job description for further details of this role. The annual salary for this role is as per S3 on the Surrey Pay Scale, with a range of £16,334 to £17,866 Full Time Equivalent (FTE). As this is a term-time only role the actual annual salary paid is pro rata the FTE amount, £12,441 – £13,608.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Required February 2019 or as soon as possible, thereafter.

We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA), to join our inspiring and supportive team from February 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointments will be Monday to Friday for 32.5 hours a week, term time only (including three INSET days a year). The working hours for these roles are 8.20am until 3.20pm (including a midday meal and play supervision (MMPS) and half an hour unpaid lunchbreak). These are permanent positions. Please see the attached job description for further details of this role. Please note that to apply for these positions it is essential that you have HLTA status or the equivalent.

The annual salary for this role is as per S6 on the Surrey Pay Scale, with a range of £21,563 – £25,313 Full Time Equivalent (FTE). As this is a term-time only role the actual annual salary paid is pro rata the FTE amount, £16,424 – £19,281.

Bell Farm School is situated just over a mile away from the centre of Walton-on-Thames and 15 minutes walk (0.7 miles) away from the station with fast trains to central London, taking from only 25 minutes.
